VERNISSAGE II
Over 150 guests celebrated the opening of the exhibition "THE WORKS" at the Roschlaub Gallery at Mittelweg 21 in Rotherbaum. The exhibition, featuring works by star photographer Bob Leinders, will run until November 24th. "I've selected my favorite images from the past 15 years," says Bob Leinders. "They originated as personal projects or as part of advertising work in South Africa, Mallorca, and Hamburg." The exhibition includes still lifes of flowers, fashion shots, black-and-white portraits, and a view of the sea. "The 25 images may seem somewhat eclectic, but they all share a distinctive and minimalist aesthetic," explains gallery owner Kirsten Roschlaub.

COLLECTORS LUNCH
Around 40 invited guests met at the end of March at the invitation of gallery owner Kirsten Roschlaub and photographer Josef Fischnaller for a luncheon at the Roschlaub Gallery on Mittelweg in Rotherbaum. The occasion was the opening of the Austrian artist's current exhibition, METAMORPHOSIS, consisting of large-format, colorful, flower-depicting liquographs – a term Fischnaller coined specifically for his newly developed photographic technique, in which the colors of a previously taken photograph liquefy during the printing process.
