Alain Delon, Romy Schneider, John F. Kennedy, Willy Brandt, and Sophia Loren—just a few of the personalities perfectly captured on paper by Jochen Blume, who died in 2018 at the age of 93. Many of his photographs became icons of photography, as he was one of the best in his field.

Nevertheless, he lived a secluded and unrecognized life in Fuhlsbüttel for the last few years, in a beautiful house full of his paintings. Some of his most important works can be seen until the end of August in Harvestehude, in the exhibition "The Perfect Moment" at the GALERIE ROSCHLAUB, Mittelweg 21 (Tues.-Fri. 11 a.m.-6 p.m. and by appointment).
