Ivo von Renner's Polaroid series "Double Polaroids" was created between 1975 and 1997 and is one of his most personal works. Starting with an improvised solution, he developed an artistic concept in which two Polaroids placed side by side depict everyday scenes, portraits, or travel impressions. The slightly offset perspectives create narrative depth and visual tension. The series captivates with its intimate, analogue aesthetic and is now considered a central work in von Renner's oeuvre.
