Kiran West is a Hamburg-based photographer specializing in dance and ballet. A former soloist with the Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier, his photographic work aims to explore the boundaries of dance images and experiment with unique perspectives.
At just 10 years old, Kiran received his first dance award, "Diamond in the Rough." After a 20-year career as a dancer, he transitioned into the role of company photographer, graphic designer, and filmmaker with the Hamburg Ballet John Neumeier in 2016. Since then, Kiran has pursued his own version of experimental dance photography, creating unusual and dynamic image constructions.
