Ivo von Renner's Polaroid series "Double Polaroids," created between 1975 and 1997, is among his most personal works. From an improvised solution, he developed an artistic concept in which two Polaroids placed side by side depict everyday scenes, portraits, or travel impressions. The slightly offset perspectives create narrative depth and visual tension. The series captivates with its intimate, analog aesthetic and is now considered a key work in von Renner's oeuvre.
